"I ran into brake problems when I was visiting Santa Barbara and called Atlas Muffler and Brakes. Riccardo kindly agreed to take a look at the problem immediately upon my request. He quickly test drove the car to understand the problem, after which he gave me a good understanding of the problem, the repair needed and the estimated repair cost, all upfront (rather than having to leave the car at the shop to even get a quote, given that problem and the repair wasn't very complicated). Their shop repaired the car on the same day, which allowed me to safely travel back from SB and I didn't have to waste a day waiting. Moreover, Riccardo showed me the newly installed parts on the car when I went to pick it up and gave me some gotchas for the future. The price for the repair was reasonable and about 50-60% lower than what another shop was charging for the same repair. I would recommend Riccardo and his shop for honest and trustworthy service."
