The beach stretches for 4 1/2 miles from Del Mar to Torrey Pines Mesa, with red-hued bluffs and wet sand making it ideal for strolling at low tide. Visitors can enjoy picnicking in the designated area near the entrance on North Torrey Pines Road, or access the beach via a trail from the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve.
