Vet Care Pet Clinic

"Beware - this office is so busy they ignore key words when clients call in to get help with ailments for your pet. I called Tuesday with major concerns of an abscess on his back in addition to no food in two days with very little water intake if he doesn’t throw it up. Coupled with that and a high fever the vet stated they didn’t think there was any cause for concern even with him being lethargic. Their front desk receptionist Christine hung up on me multiple times, placed me on 10-15 minute holds more than 3 times for someone else to pick up and ask why I had been holding so long and if I needed help. Their words “sorry we’re over booked, don’t know what to tell you - if you feel your matter is an emergency feel free to go elsewhere because we don’t handle emergencies here” I finally had to take my dog to an animal hospital today only to find out my dog has severe pancreatitis and extremely high glucose levels. Had I waited until Monday like they wanted me to come in at my dog would be dead by then. This place is understaffed and they have 0 compassion for people due to the conditions they are put under. After 6 yrs of being a client I will never go back to this place, their less than accurate advice almost killed my dog and that is something you should be aware of if you’re thinking this place might be a good idea just to save a few bucks. I tried to contact the office manager about my experience but shocker she never got back to me her name is Hollis and the email I sent 2 days ago remains unanswered. The animals hospital I went to today showed more care, compassion and assistance than I’ve received here in 6 years. Good luck with this place."

"Shirley is very rude and short to her clients but everyone else are helpful and caring. I arrived at 8:50 for my 9:00 appt. As I entered I was abruptly stop at the door by Shirley M. She direct me to wait outside she was checking in ALL appts. when there was no one waiting in lobby. So I proceeded to wait outside as directed when 2 separate patients walk in and get served. After the last patient departed I decide to call the office as I wait outside now 9:15 for my 9:00 appt. The other receptionist who answered say come on in we have been waiting for you. Shirley sitting next to her doing nothing doesn't even acknowledge what just happened when I finally get in. We bring our love and cherish pets as part of family to for your care and this how they treat us, this is a shame. This kind of bad experience is not the first at this clinic but first time to write review. I hope others have better experience then we did however i doubt that. The other patient who was also waiting outside came in after hearing my phone call and questioned her for the same thing. Good luck everyone!"

"Vet care pet clinic has been our favorite vet for both our cat and large dog. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and the vets really listen to and address your concerns. On weekdays there is a vaccine / shots clinic in the mornings and it’s one of the most affordable options available since you don’t need a full exam appointment. I highly recommend bringing your pets here, they’ll be in great hands"

"The pricing for the shots was just as much as a standard vet. Leukemia and FVRCP (3 rounds, hopefully it's included) $80 Waited in line from 1pm and vet care was late came around 1:25pm. Took about 2 hours total. Bring chairs and snacks whatever you need and water for your animals. Bring a friend in case you need to use the restroom/ or your dog does."
