"Not the first time we make the hour drive to eat here. Although the service has ALWAYS lacked enthusiasm and professionalism, the food has always been exceptionally good. Today I decided to bring my friend whom is visiting form out of state making us a party of 3 adults, 2 children/teens, and one 7 month old baby girl. As expected, service left room for desire and the food was AMAZING, nothing new nor disappointing that's until we receive our bill with a 16% gratuity for being a party of 6. NEVER had I experienced an infant being accounted for in a restaurant as part of a party. Now I don't know everything and have no problem with educating myself further so I ask to speak to a manager to get clarification on this matter. I was very rudely told the manager was unavailable and long story short; an infant whom does not eat "real food" let alone sea food was accounted for and therefore a gratuity fee was automatically added."
"I tried a couple of dishes. The fried oysters were good but very small. The other dish was shrimp sausage corn and potatoes Cajun medium sauce. I love the second dish."
"Great atmosphere, the hosts were so friendly and inviting. They gave us helpful recommendations as first timers, that did not disappoint. The "give it all to me" flava was sooo good and the portions were well worth the price. I had the "with a kick" sauce on the side that I also really enjoyed and i really liked the smoke flavor the sausage had. I will definitely be visiting again! **UPDATE** This place never fails!! I visited several times since my first review and am satisfied rather I dine-in or take-out. The food is always fast and fresh. Take-out is quick and the dine-in experience is laid back and chill. I especially love the sea themed decor on the walls. I highly recommend this place"
"My first time there at claw daddy’s and they did not disappoint. We tried to go out there like 4 times but they would closed early due to food running out. And now I know why. I finally got a chance to try it and omg it’s the best in Bakersfield. I loved there clam chowder soup. But the sauce was very good. If you love seafood boil like I do. This place is a must."
