"Excellent beers, loved Luftgeist (wit) and Goldrausch (hazy pale). Delish bratwurst and grilled cheese sandwich. Easy place to hang out. Look forward to coming back."
"A really great microbrewery if you love good beer. Unlike many craft brewers that have nice locations but only half decent beer, Kulturhaus is the real deal. Had the Seewölfe DIPA, Goldrausch IPA, Lokale Kreatur red ale, and the Wecken farmhouse ale. All had tasty rich flavor and really good balance that showed the effort of a great brewer. Who knew that thyme would work in a farmhouse ale? The Seewölfe is the best DIPA I have had this year. Combine great beer with some really well prepared pub food and a friendly and attentive staff and you have a perfect spot to spend an afternoon in Pismo. The house-made pickled veggies were a real treat, and the sausages went great with the beer. Five stars! Hope I make it back again soon."

"Friendly, welcoming, relaxed and delicious! I was delighted by the vegetarian offering of a sautéed portobello mushroom sandwich with sauerkraut on super fresh sourdough roll. Looking forward to going back and trying the pickles and cheese board. Great selection of local beers and their own beers coming soon. Positive first experience for sure!"
