"We have been wanting to try this restaurant for many years, but it always seemed to be closed when we were in town (we usually are here during the mid-day.) We finally decided to make a special trip just for this place and I'm glad we did. I was a bit worried to bring a group because the menu seems a bit sparse. I need not have worried, for the food was excellent all around. I had the NY Steak, which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife opted for the shrimp and grits which was equally excellent. On the table was also a Spring Pasta and a Comfort Bowl with added chicken. All were delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We had everything we wanted when we wanted it. The bartender does a great job and the ambiance is very comfortable on the eyes. I look forward to going back and highly recommend this restaurant."

"This place is nicely decorated. Located in a really cute old west town of Sutter. The service was great. We got there around 9:50 am. Did not have to wait to be seated. The food was good, but not superb. My Benedict eggs were ok but missed a bit on flavor. The breakfast burrito was dried. Coffee was solid. I would go back to try their lunch and dinner menu. In general good alternative in the area. Some room for improvement, though."
"Well-curated American fare in downtown Sutter Creek. The food was exceptional at the price point, phenomenal shrimp and grits. A nice variety of cocktails, service was exceptional and it's in a comfortable space attached to the Hanford House. A little loud for my taste but it was a Saturday night after all. Can't wait to go back."
"New owners as of..maybe a year ago? Nevertheless, the food, the atmosphere, and the service are still phenomenal. This is my favorite place for breakfast. And, by the way, they make great Bloody Mary's. When in Sutter Creek this is a must."
