SpringHill Suites by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach

"I recently stayed here with my family for one night before our flight home the next morning from LAX. I should have checked the reviews better before hand. As another person here mentioned, the rooms are small and outdated, dirty with stains on the carpet (huge blood stain) mouldy old couch and weird odour in the room. If it had been more than one night we would have left. Very disappointing for a Marriott property! Major renovation is needed. It’s close to LAX but there is no shuttle service. The one plus, the desk staff were excellent and the breakfast was good."

"This hotel is quite convenient if you are looking to be close to the airport. There are stores not too far away which is nice should you need something. The furniture in the room seems to have been updated and we found plenty of outlets available in the room which was nice. Water pressure in the shower could have been a little better. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the room. The gym is open 24 hours. It is simple but nice. Breakfast was typical for a continental hotel breakfast. Nevertheless, I found it to be sufficient with good options. Overall, a simple and good stay."

"Was there for a girls' trip and family member's birthday party. Had several rooms blocked. Family came from all over. Have stayed in Springhill suites in other cities. This property is no way compared to those. Was more of a motel atmosphere. Rooms were very small and cramped. Housekeeping never came to clean our room. Had to ask for towels daily. It definitely wasn't worth the price. Breakfast was the best thing about the hotel."

"I had a nice stay at this hotel, conveniently located close to LAX. The rooms aren't huge, but having the living/working space separated from the bedroom makes it feel more spacious. The free breakfast was solid and a plus, and the small exercise room was nice. The only challenge with staying here is that the entrance to the 405 can be laden with traffic, as the lights are not timed well. As long as you give yourself extra time, you'll be fine. Otherwise, the staff at this hotel is great, and I will certainly stay here again."

"The only good part about this place is its location-it is close to the airport. Other this place is not comparable to other Marriott facilities. The room is outdated with old carpet that desperately needs some cleaning-it has had a strong musty dirty sock smell. The tub is old and has stains around it. It was a bit overwhelming. The sofa had a moldy odor. I would not recommend staying here."
