Since our inception in 1950, following the formation of the Santa Clara Water Conservation District in 1927, UWCD has been at the forefront of water conservation efforts. We have constructed vital infrastructure, including the Santa Felicia Dam, Lake Piru Reservoir, and the Freeman Diversion, to support sustainable water management across the region.
