Our story began with Russ's quest for the perfect hamburger, inspired by his travels where he discovered a place that served a burger exactly to his liking—complete with thick slices of onions, tomatoes, and crisp lettuce. This passion for quality led to the birth of Nation's Giant Hamburgers when Dale purchased an unnamed restaurant in Oakland and proposed the idea of building a chain together. Thus, the iconic Nation's Giant Hamburgers brand was born, with Oakland proudly displaying the first sign.
