"Pretty irritated with this location. Opened an account earlier this month and was told to expect a debit card in a week or two, because the Fourth it was likely going to take longer than normal. I have received emails about activating my card but still never received it, turns out the gentleman here actually never ordered a card for me, despite the clear communication to me that the card had been ordered. I would expect the bank to be more professional on something like this - they wouldn't be as calm with me making a similar mistake with a payment if I was a loan customer of theirs."
"I opened an account with this Branch 3 years ago, and I have changed my opinion on trusting Banks. I love having access to my money at any time, and knowing how much I have in the bank simply by clicking an app."
"Every time I go in to do something besides a simple transaction, Adam tries to sell me a bunch of services that I don't want. For instance, when I came in to open a savings account, he instead tried to talk me into taking out a loan or getting a credit card. He spent at least twice as much time trying to convince me to get something I didn't want as he did working on the task I came in to accomplish. That is just one instance of him doing that. Also, the bank is not open on Saturday, even though the Google hours state it is."
"TERRIBLE. I pay rent here every month because my landlord has an account and I wait in line at least 30mins Everytime just to hand them a deposit slip. There's usually only 1 to 2 people working at the desk and currently it's the manager, I'm not sure if they're understaffed or what the issue is but I do not look forward to coming in every month. Unprofessional."
"The worst banking experience of my entire life. After years at the same bank, I went into my branch in October to remove overdraft protection from my account. I didn't remember signing up for overdraft protection in the first place. The teller had me sign a paper and I left. Last week I went in again because another overdraft came in and was told to sign the same form once again. I asked if the same thing was going to happen again. I was told that they would look into what happened. So I went back on Tuesday of this week and I was told that they wouldn't reverse charges but they would escalate the issue with customer service to see if the charges would be removed. During this time the branch manager was in his office with a client. I decided to go outside to call customer service as to not disturb anyone in the bank. When I came back in the teller, Sandy told me that things (paperwork) go from the branch to the corporate offices and get lost in a "hole". Not what you want to hear from your bank, especially when it is costing me money. At that point the manager, Kyle had finished with the clients in his office, he immediately got directly in my face and told me to leave or he would call the police. Up to that point the conversation had been polite, devoid of cussing, derogatory terms or even raised voices. I left immediately and called BB&T customer service to file a complaint. I was told on the phone that they had many issues with that particular branch. I was told that i would hear back within a day or two on the matter. After not hearing back from anyone two days later called back this morning after checking my account balance on the U app and calling in on the phone I was told that my account had been closed. This is how they deal with errors by threats, bullying and then closing my account. Totally unacceptable behavior. So now I am forced to do whatever can to warn others. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK EVER!!"
