"My family hired Dallas to do some remodeling and repairs on our home back in 2015. He talks a good game, (handshakes and hugs) and puts forth great effort in assuring you that he only wants to make you happy, and at a better than fair price. The initial estimates were just above what we were comfortable with, but Dallas assured us he would do what he could to keep us on the lower end of his " poor guesstimation". Not to skip to the punchline, but we ended up paying three times more than what we agreed, and three times more than what the actual work should have cost. Since then we have had several contractors come in and assess the work done. The first couple days were "all hands on deck". 6 to 7 laborers moving busily. After that, 3 to 4 every couple days. Eventually it got down to 1 or 2 once a week for only a couple hours , if that. We had multiple laborers show up drunk. One actually fell out of the truck. When Dallas found out that we, the inhabitants of the home, we're not the ones signing the checks, he immediately began bypassing us and requesting payments from the source for work that was never performed. Of the four doors installed, not one closes properly. The plumbing he repaired blew out the ceiling beneath it, the walls he constructed have since cracked. Corners are uneven and several initial issues were never even adressed. His own employees rairly had a good word to say about him, and on multiple occasions he was heardr bad mouthing us. In the end we looked into hiring a lawyer, only to find out he had no assets in his name and it would be like getting water from a rock. Not only has it left my family in a sizeable debt, but it has also damaged some personal relationships within my family. Please, for the good of your family, if not your own mental and financial state, do not hire this conman."

"I hired this company to fix my siding on my house. They came and gave me an estimate, and I agreed to the price and set up an appointment for three or four days later. I took off work and waited, and waited. A few hours later, no call and no show. I called them and they rescheduled. Again I took off work, guess what? No call or no show. A couple of the times they did not show or call it rained. Most of the days were sunny and nice. It's been over a month now and my siding is still hanging off the house. It is worse now due to the wind blowing it around and loosening up other pieces. Life it were fixed at least one of their scheduled appointments it would have cost me less money than it is now. I have to honestly say this is the worst experience I've had with a contractor. This review is my honest experience with Dallas Wilson Construction in Huntington WV."
