He had no shortage of reasons for failing to show up, once telling us he was late because one of his employees was arrested for stealing from a house they were working on. Another homeowner using this company later told us that worker had actually been at their house the whole week and didn't believe that to be true. Floor tile was laid unevenly with "quick set" materials more suited for repairs. This made it incredibly easy to take up, but we were warned that if we'd allowed him to use it on the walls as well the tiles would have fallen off after a couple of years. We had to replace him halfway through the job and discovered the some of the cement board he installed wasn't sufficiently glued or screwed to the wall. We literally pulled it down it by hand. The only lasting impact of his work is the damage his team caused to our bathtub."

After hesitating to pull the trigger for some time because I had seen where painting vinyl is a risk, Frank always took time to listen to my concerns and carefully explained that it is certainly possible when done right, and also highlighted his experience in painting vinyl. These guys prepped the house extensively and worked daily through three coats of paint in the 90+ degree heat. They could have easily sped through the project to save themselves from these conditions, but they did a very careful and thorough job. The price for labor was substantially less than others had quoted. We love how it turned out. I will certainly have them back for future projects."
