"This bank closed my account because there was no active use in it in over a year . I was using that bank account to save money for my children n grandchildren. I had placed that money in there when they were 10/11 yrs old . Their 30/32 now . This bank account opened when I was 19 . After all those years . You take upon yourself to close my account and give my money to the state . Wow what horrible business and they should be closed down . No one should be allowed to closed a bank account unless it’s the human or the beneficiary that opened it ! Shame on you ! I absolutely hate this bank ! You only get a 1 star because the bank manager was nice to me . Burn in hell PNC ! Hope you go out of business!"
"I really wish I didn't have a business account here that was tied to everything and would be easy to move. This bank has been a nightmare for me for years and continues to be one. Despite claims of no turnover, this branch has gone through several people and branch managers in a fairly short amount of time. They lacked a business banker for ages and everyone you need seems to exist at other branches and you play phone tag with them. People at this branch will give you incorrect fees about services, tell you there isn't one, and 60 days later a fee shows up on your account. You'll get argued with over asking to have it refunded as well and told no promises. For an assistant manager who says she's the HR manager too, I wasn't treated well on the call, and told someone else would have to get back to me as she can't do the credit. I really do my best to never speak to these people so that I have my best banking experience ignoring the fact I picked the wrong bank to be with. I would rather dance barefoot on Legos than to experience the sense of dread I get when I know I have to call here. I personally bank with a credit union and it's excellent. They just didn't offer the SBA business loan program and PNC did."
"My family is in the process of moving. We decided approximately two months ago to come to PNC. The branches were near my current location, my future location, and my son's college. Before I was able to set up my account I had to make an appointment. It took several days of trying to call this branch, the closest to me, no one picked up the call. After getting through, I had a pleasurable time setting up the account, unfortunately, I forget the young man's name. I figured the phone issue was a one-off kind of activity that just happens from time to time. After the two months, I decided to bring two other customers to PNC and to this Branch in Englewood Ohio. I could not get anyone to answer the phone, again. I decided to make the trip and deposit the two checks I had into my account and have the other two future customers join me. I waited in line to see a teller and I informed them that the future customers wanted to open accounts. I was informed that it would be approximately four hours until they could be seen. I informed them that they should answer their phone and received the reply that they were short-staffed. I asked for the manager, going full Kyle-mode. Kacey, KC, however you spell her name, she would not tell me her last name, responded and I asked her if the staffing issue was her issue and she responded curtly, "Yeah, blame it all on me." So that is what I intend, I am a service-connected disable veteran and my wife works at the VA, so we are not wealthy by any means. Apparently, we are not worthy of respect nor concern from KC, maybe my balance isn't high enough. If you are having staffing issues, why aren't there ads in the classified to fill them? It has been at least two months. The reviews about this branch confirms my assumptions that this branch is a dumpster fire, that is likely caused from the top down. You have a management issue, I must assume KC is an integral part of it as well. I am seriously wondering if I have made a mistake in choosing PNC. I will let other branches help make that determination, because if left to this branch, I would not bank here. The second star is for the gentleman that helped create our accounts. Maybe he should replace KC, just a thought."
"After using the Englewood PNC branch for years, today I have chosen to close my account. My experience with PNC started out fine. With each transaction made, I would instantly receive a notification text advising the total spent and where it was spent. However, things have gradually gone from fine to terrible over time. I rarely receive the notification texts anymore, when spending money I'm lucky if it accurately reflects within my transactions, instead I often notice transactions fluctuate from pending, posted, temporarily disappearing and then later being reassessed, as you can imagine this can make balancing funds quite cumbersome. Once, I even had a check deposited into my account that had belonged to someone else! At first, I approached the issue calmly, reaching out to Customer Service for assistance. Unfortunately, after many attempts and even getting escalated to Merchant Services for resolution, the issues remain, and rather than providing service, the associates place blame elsewhere to avoid the problem altogether. Alas, I am tired of fighting with my bank to fulfill my expectations, which are quite minimal when comparing services offered by their competitors. Therefore I chose to close my account, but yet even our final goodbyes ended on a negative note as the "assisting" associate, Jessica spoke down to me, belittled my concerns, and continued hiding their incompetence by placing blame elsewhere."
"Horrible bank! The lady in front of me was able to get her check cash without being a pic member. My WHOLE family (including myself) bank with PNC and I was advised that they could only cash one of my checks. WTF? I have NEVER had this issue! I will definitely make sure my family, dad mom, grandma etc etc pulls our money from your shady bank."
