"My husband and I went to him until a few months ago. My husband had cardiac issues and Dr Sawyer wouldn’t send him to see a cardiologist. My husband often was FALLING ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING! The doctor just said he needed more sleep. He put my husband in a high dosage of cardiac medicine. For myself, I have had difficulty getting my blood sugar lowered and begged him for help. YES BEGGED! My asthma was also bothering me. Coughing was one of the main side effects of Lisinopril that I’ve been on. Why didn’t Sawyer know this or share this? He kept giving me cortisone shots!! Our new doc stopped that lisinopril, and the coughing stopped. Wow! I had colleagues before asking if I was okay! My husband was sent immediately to a cardiologist and sent to a sleep study. The cardiologist reported that my husband was on a very high dosage of cardiac medicine and lowered it. He has run tests and surgery is necessary. My husband did a sleep study which found severe sleep apnea. If only we had left sooner. I’m on a newer diabetic medicine and am doing much better with that. In my opinion this doctor believes he can handle everything. I believe with us his lack of knowledge was negligence. He also charges all kinds of fees which is greedy and unnecessary. He doesn’t file insurance so everything is out of pocket. We have a friend who is a family doctor in another state and told us she believed he was practicing antiquated medicine and that his lack of care was negligible. Do yourself a favor and skip this guy. He should have already retired in my opinion. Find a newer doctor and go visit and interview them. These opinions are those of mine and my husbands."
"2010 I was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down. He helped me to get emergency surgery. Only good thing he's done. Tried to get me on 750 vicodin, 100 amitriptyline. Tried to keep me medicated up. I got away from that. He managed to get my parent's addicted to xanax. Stepdad lost his trucking career. When I showed up at Mr. Sawyer job and yelled at him in front of his patients he then tried to get my parent's to get rid of me as soon as possible saying I was the problem."
"Dr Sawyer should not promote face shields for children. Coronavirus has been repeatedly shown to have the least impacts on children and there are currently ZERO documented cases globally of student to teacher transmission of the virus. Additionally he should be PROMOTING herd immunity, antiviral foods, supplements, sunshine ( for vitamin D), and the removal of masks and social distancing for ALL children ( who have healthy immune systems)as when we exhale, our bodies rid themselves of toxins - including viruses, carbon dioxide and monoxide. Inhaling your breath via a mask reduces carbon intake by about 30% causing a host of problems as well. He should be promting organic foods in schools as well, but is likely more linked to pharmaceutical/agrochemical food manufacturers- like Bill Gates (BMGF owns half million shares of Monsanto/Pfizer)- than he is with CSA’s."
"Been a patient of Dr Sawyer since i was born in 1986 and I can say he is a very good and well versed doctor of family medicine......I highly recommend him as a family doctor. Honest, patient and knowledgeable. Best doctor around!"
"Very caring staff with a brilliant Doctor. Works with people that have no or poor insurance on medical bills."
