"They help you cope with mental illness. This place is a lot of fun you can create things and I love to create stuff I’m very creative"
"Recovery Center has taught me emotional regulation and mindful techniques that help me deal with my mental health issues. Most of all it's a safe space for me to heal. I have made good friends and I am no longer isolating myself from life."
"Well, I have much to say but I'll keep it in brief points. Most of what I have to say is why don't they make the "at risk" ones stay home and do online classes instead of burdening the rest of their attendees?! Nope, they make everyone suffer. Two, they don't support everyone. I'd know this as I've been regarded more as an afterthought. They said they tried to reach me, yesterday, when, as I can tell you, I haven't gotten any text messages, calls, or voice mails and I've been home ALL DAY. Yeah, they're a bit dishonest, too. Oh, and there's a staff member, Jerry, who's had complaints about his antics but they still haven't done anything about it."
"It's a pretty nice place in some sense or another, though, due to the pandemic, I've been shut out, in most senses of the word. It's more so open if one just so happens to live within city limits or have consistent transportation."
"I recommend the recovery center for anyone seeking to improve their mental health as a client. I wouldn't recommend working there however due to the drama and friction between the employees that is widespread and pervasive."
