I told him I was there because my GI referred me and his response was “I can’t do anything for the hernia. It’s a birth defect, probably there from birth and… ‘However, you need to lose some weight’”. He then proceeded to tell me about his new weight loss clinic’ I’m guessing he hadn’t even read my chart, which includes a diagnosis of gastroparesis. He was cocky and uncaring about the situation at hand. He just wanted another weight loss client!!"
