"Worst office I've ever been to in the Christ Hospital Network. I've been a patient with Christ Hospital Physicians for over 20 years (Hyde Park Office). Decided to try to go to an office closer to home. Big mistake. It took them over a week to get back with me following initial contact - guess it was a good thing I wasn't sick or anything. Then it took over 5 months to get in to see the doctor (really... wth???). Prior to arrival, I filled out the pre-visit paperwork ON-LINE using the MyChart app. It's worth noting that I have a 20 year health record in that app as well. When I arrived at the office I was handed a 14(ish) page new patient packet to fill out. *ALL* the info in that packet was ***already*** in my chart (MyChart). I asked why I had to fill out 14(ish) pages of information when everything was alreay in my chart!!!??? I have a difficult time writing, and I just didn't see why this needed to be done. I was given some lame excuse about it being for the doctor. I guess she can't use a computer???? Not sure. I started the paperwork and the doctor came out to hand me an additional piece of paper that she needed to add since my previous Dr. had not had me fill it out - NOTE: previous Dr. also in Christ Hosiptal network, and all records in MyChart (which obviously she already knew by looking at my chart to see the form was missing). At this point I decided this was no the practice I wished to be tied to. I don't know what they are trying to achieve, but if the goal is to aggravate patients then they are succeeding. I will just stay with Hyde Park Internists. I have never had any issues, and the staff there is truly amazing. GRADE: F"

"Dr. Welsh treats my entire family. I feel very comfortable seeing her, which is important because it's hard to find a doctor who actually listens and takes their time. She and her staff will also answer questions through MyChart, which I find to be extremely helpful. When I was very ill with appendicitis, she made time to see me right away, which was good, because I ultimately needed to have it removed. If you're like me, and you're worried about how you will be treated as a patient, Dr. Welsh and her staff will give expert care with dignity and respect, to your entire family."

"Worst physician experience I have ever had. Dr Welsh was condescending and borderline insulting during my visit. I went in for a first routine checkup and and was told I would need some “routine” tests. I have insurance through Christ hospital but somehow the routine tests cost almost $500. I would strongly advise any new patients to look elsewhere when considering a physician."

I would recommend her without hesitation. I would also like to add that the office staff have always been helpful and friendly. They are a major part in my positive experiences and an asset to Dr. Welsh."
