"Well, they seem a little bit distracted with all the "My Chart" posts.I made an appt.for May 31,2024 for my yearly physical. When I arrived they said I was not on the appt.list,Rita put me on it.I had stopped to get fasting bloodwork done at the Lab and there was no order from the Dr. Dr.Stewart seemed a little perturbed at me,I think because off all the messages back and forth on My Chart,he did not seem as caring as he normally is.He asked if I wanted a Covid Booster and I sort of shrugged it off,he said "they don't do anything for you anyway" which was a bit shocking to me.I was never asked about any other injecions,Shingles,Pneumonia, etc. When he left he said for me to stay there the nurse would be right in.When she came in she showed me my appy.summary and asked what he was changing my Zoloft med.to and why.I had no idea, she looked all thru the PC and did not see anything, but she did not go to find him and ask what was going on with it.I should have insisted on it but I was a little perturbed at the entire place so I left. A week and a half before all of this my Blood Pressure med.had been called into Kroger, they said no refills so they would contact Dr Stewart. No calls at all about my med.from the Pharmacy so I got on My Chart and asked why no refills yet.I was told I needed a follow up appt. to get refills! We had video chatted with Karen about me and my husband being sick after an 11 day trip we had been on and she ordered meds. for both of us,THAT is what I was replied to was about those 3 meds.not my BP meds at all.Kroger gave me 3 pills to make it thru until I could get Dr. to call in refills which was not done until my Appt. I think too many people got involved in my messages about needing my BP meds,I had 3 different people responding to me and it got very upsetting,IF My Chari is needing to be used,I think they need to set rules, when a patient sends a message only 1 person handles it and they all need some extra training on it. I checked My Chart the next day to see if anything was on it and they had sent the Summary of my visit with everything blank because they said I had cancelled my appt. for the 31st!!!! I had not cancelled and I was there. I am done commenting now."
"I used to think he was an awesome dr. Everything was great when he was pumping me with pain pills. When I decided to stop taking them and didn't visit every month is when I guess I was an issue. I called in about kidney stones and I was told find a new Dr. I now feel he is just a legal pill pusher and needs to be investigated. Real pos."
"I love going to see Dr Steward and his nurse Melissa they are awesome it is the first doctor that made me feel comfortable like he really cared and takes time to talk to you and listen to you I moved to Florida and continued to see him for five years because I did not want to switch doctors he is awesome! I would highly recommend him to anyone"
"James Stewart is by far the absolute best Doctor I have ever had. I have been seeing him ever since he was at Summit. He remembers the tragedy of my fiancé passing 10 years ago. That really shows he is caring and that his patients aren’t just a random chart. I have a terminal illness that is so hard to cope with but I teared up in his office and he handed me the tissues. I could tell he felt for me and everything I have been through. A Doctor like James Stewart is a true blessing. You can be yourself with him. He’s down to earth and understanding. I travel out of the way now but to have him as my priority Doctor is worth it. Thank you Dr. Stewart."
