"My father went there for short term rehabilitation after surgery on antibiotics so that he would be in a sterilized environment. He was transported there from the hospital. When we got there to get him settled for his what was supposed to be a 2 week stay right off the bat our experience wasn't good. When we got there there was no one to ask where my dad was at the front desk (we never saw anyone working g the front desk except maybe once or twice the whole time and our family was in and out multiple times a day sometimes). So we had to walk the halls until we found his room not one person asked us why our who or what we was looking for. His sheets (that he been sitting on until I got with his knee that was suppose to have limited exposure to germs) when I turned them down for him to get comfy I found small spots of feces and yellowing on the underside it looked like whoever cleaned the room after the last resident in there just flipped the them over to hide it. The trash can had some kind of dried up gunk in the bottom with used diabetic strips in it and a pair of used gloves and a few other little things in it, the I.V poll they used to hang my dad antibiotics on looked like it had been picked out of a dumpster, there was smashed bugs under one of the clear corner protectors in his room, the place reeked of urine all throughout, my dad complained to me about how long it took for someone to answer his call lights, they never wanted to give him the proper prescribed dose of his pain meds just half the dose unless we said something to them, I brought all this up in the intake care meeting even showed pictures I took to the head administrator at the meeting they acted concerned but then nothing was fixed after a week of being there and just had visited with him the day before I walked in to find my dad not looking good his whole body looked red from being hot. He was talking out his mind when he would try and wake up so my fiancee asked for a thermometer so I could check his temp they told him they had to find one. He had to go ask for one every 15 min about 4 or 5 times before another nurse finally told the nurse he had asked several time in over an hr time who had been on her phone the whole hr to get us one. Then the aid didn't even know how to use it. She said his temp was only 96.4 which it clearly was not so we asked for the actual nurse to come look at him. The aide told us it was shift change and it will be about 15 min but she would be in we waited over another an hour and a half before she came in. She checked his vitals they was all low and he had a fever they was so low that they didn't tell use what his vitals were she did call the on call Dr quick and they started with oxygen his oxygen after they was giving him 5 liters was at 85 when we they had him transported to an e.r. where they got his blood pressure up to 70/43 after they gave him meds to bring it up so who knows how low it was when I first saw him in the nursing home. He was diagnosed with sepsis shock and I was told that if I hadn't gone to see him when I did he wouldn't of made it through the night. He was in i.c.u for several days and a regular room for several over all stay at the hospital was a week and then his 2 weeks of rehabilitation for his i.v. antibiotics turned into a month and several more types of antibiotics. He didn't go back there to finish his rehabilitation we took him to Hillebrand which was a completely different experience in a good way."
"I was at Three Rivers after being in the hospital and I just want to give a shout out I had one of the best nursing assistants that I've ever seen in my life it was a male had the most adorable curly hair I've ever seen on a man and his name was Zay. I couldn't have asked for someone to give me better care than he did and also on third shift I was blessed to have rissa she was amazing. I just want Steven Rosedale to know how blessed he is to have them working for him and I did let him know how great they were. I did have some bad experiences in there but I won't talk about them on here. Thank you Zay and rissa for the care and support that you gave me while I was at Three Rivers."

"My mom seems to like it here. We haven't had any major issues yet. She actually likes the food and she feels comfortable with the staff and how they treat her. It's not as cosmetically nice as others, but her care and well being is more important."
"I can’t begin to explain what a quality place this is! The staff all seem to love what they do, almost like they have a calling to do it. They all, from the cleaning crew, the cooks, nursing staff, PCSs are very attentive. They treat you with the golden rule and make you feel like a part of a big family. The food is top notch for hospital food. I like it. The facility is safe and clean. I’m a patient here temporarily. I would not hesitate in putting a loved one here. If you have a question call them."
