"Long ago (15 years) for what it's worth. Bathroom remodel with no issues. Kitchen remodeled into long galley kitchen. Four issues from least to worst. Floor had a bump which they tiled over. Though not specified, I assumed they would mitigate with floor leveling compound - which they had never heard of such a product. Some baseboard tiles just fell off when touched. I assume they were running low on adhesive and just tried to stretch it out rather than load another tube. New garbage disposal installed was never tightened and leaked under cabinet. Large overhead cabinets (30"x30") were remounted with one DRYWALL screw below and one drywall screw above. The upper screw was through the 1/8" backing. Noticed end cabinet was pulling away from the wall at the top. When I called to complain they graciously offered to come back and put in a few more (drywall?) screws. No thanks. The admittedly poorly designed cabinets lacked proper mounting cleats; an issue the could and should have been addressed before remounting the cabinets. I was stuck taking down the cabinets (since they were unwilling to help) and jury rigging some mounting cleats (glued and end-nail through cabinet sides). Remounted with proper flanged cabinet screws. Crew(s) had some great guys and some sloppy ones. Guess you must always watch contractor crews like a hawk. --- As far as Select Construction saying "not us", David Clay provided the initial estimate and Charlie Clay headed up the work crew -- definitely Select Construction."

"I can't say enough great things about Select Construction! They did a whole kitchen tear down and remodel as well as dining room and half bath remodel. David helped me plan with terrific ideas that I could trust. He was patient and understanding all along the way. They painted, installed flooring, tile, rerouted plumbing etc. You name it, they did it. They were professional and enjoyable to have around. The whole team was always kind, considerate, timely and very knowledgable. After this experience of an almost entire first floor remodel I won't use anyone else when it comes time for my other remodeling projects.
