About the Business
Welcome to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, a place of worship located at 699 East Columbia Avenue, Reading, Ohio 45215. Our mission is to make God's Goodness known by educating for life and extending compassion and support to those in need, particularly women and children living in poverty.
As part of a global mission, we strive to spread God's goodness beyond borders, embracing all communities with love and understanding. We invite you to join us in our efforts to create a positive impact on the world through education, advocacy, and prayer.
This year, during the Season of Creation 2024, we focus on reducing fossil fuel consumption and encourage small, meaningful actions that contribute to environmental sustainability. From cutting back on energy use to reducing meat consumption and avoiding plastics, every effort counts. We also invite you to incorporate a "rosary of creation" in your prayers and support initiatives like the Fossil Fuels Non-proliferation Treaty.
Join us every Tuesday at 4:00 PM (ET) from September 3rd to October 1st for the Season of Creation Peace Prayer, in collaboration with the Adrian Dominican Sisters. This time of scripture, reflection, and intercessory prayer is an opportunity to advocate for justice and care for creation.
Explore our resources to stay informed and engaged in promoting Catholic social teaching. Discover the inspiring story of the Our Lady of Guadalupe wood carving, a beautiful symbol of faith gifted by the Trujillo family.
