Reviews
"Very tiny park filled with weeds"
"Pretty but not wheelchair accessible. We had to leave. Couldn’t use my husband’s scooter there. FYI for others in same situation."
"Seems like we popped in at just the right time. Mid April had all the wildflowers in bloom. A surprising little patch of peace and beauty tucked into the city. We only saw a handful of people and took probably a hundred photos. Well worth the stop."
"I've driven past this place so many times and Decided yesterday at lunch to walk over and check it out What a beautiful park. It definitely didn't feel like I was in Cincinnati anymore. A really nice retreat"
"Urban oasis in the middle of Avondale, Hauck Botanic Garden has a rich history of horticulture. Cornelius J. Hauck owned this property where he planted over 900 species of trees, shrubs and evergreens brought here from all over the world. The estate was named ‘Sooty Acres.’ Cincinnati Parks Planning & Design Division, the Civic Garden Center, the Cincinnati Parks Foundation and the Gibson House event space call this park home. Worth a visit, especially in Spring!"
