"Every Sunday your congregants park in spots reserved for local businesses and not your church. It's not a good witness and makes the community resent your church."
"My kids and I were walking down 6th back to our hotel and came across this gorgeous Roman Cathedral. And we just happen to be walking past it as a wedding was taken place. Gorgeous. What a staple for their community. Stay blessed!!"
"It's disheartening that the establishment seems indifferent to the neighborhood's concerns. The recent alterations to their bell music have significantly disrupted our community, despite efforts to address the issue through meetings and discussions. Our neighborhood, consisting of nurses, firefighters, teachers, and retirees, values the peace and familiarity of the old bell schedule—:15, :30, :45, :00. The new schedule, with irregular intervals and additional music, disrupts our daily routines and peaceful enjoyment of our homes. Now, it disrupts at irregular times like 9:18am, 9:24am, 9:30AM, 10am, 10:24am, 10:30AM, 11:49am, and additionally at 6pm with music at 6:09pm for 6 minutes daily on Sundays. Weekdays are especially chaotic with the same disruptions at 9:24am, 9:30AM, 10am, 10:24am, 10:30AM, and 11:49am. We've been residents here for 30 years, and while we understand change is inevitable, it's important for businesses to consider the impact on the community they serve. We hope for a resolution that respects both their business needs and our neighborhood's well-being."
"The Annunciation of the Ever Virgin Mary, Mother of God was organized in 1841 by Reverend Doctor Ferdinand Kuhr and is the mother church for a number of Germany parishes in Covington. This building was completed in 1871 in a Renaissance style with the towers rising a full 200 feet. Inside, you need to see the five murals by Johann Schmitt and wall frescoes that were painted in 1890 by Wenceslaus Thien. Indeed, it is an impressive church and well worth your time."
"We visited as tourists, craving art and architecture, and were not disappointed. Enter the church from the parking lot - there's side door with ramp leading to it. Very dim and cozy church with lots of stained glass. Beautiful! We went there on Saturday afternoon, just a few people in there."
