"New to the electric vehicle market, I was moderately confused by all of the information I researched on what was necessary for a home charging station. I contacted three of the recommended Tesla electrical contractors and here's what I got: First company had me send pictures of my garage and electrical panel. Based on what I sent I was told I'd be looking at $2500-$5000 to install a home charging station. Second company told me they could come out to do an estimate for $79 (which could be applied to my account if I had them do the work) but couldn't come out for 4 weeks to do just the estimate. The third company, EV Systems, the friendly and professional CO-OWNER came out the very next day, provided me with an understandable overview of everything related to EV charging and made sure that I actually understood. He looked at my electric panel and took the time to figure out the most cost effective way to give me a home charging station (which was well below the estimate provided by the first company). He wrote up the estimate and I hired him on the spot. He came out the following week and did the work. In my opinion, if you need a home charging station EV SYSTEMS IS THE ONLY COMPANY YOU NEED TO CALL. David was knowledgeable, professional and skilled - everything you would ask for in a contractor.
