"I get notifications of packages arriving on a certain day and seems they bring it when they feel like it. I’ve had mail from Texas never show up twice, definitely a big financial loss. so what is the post office now losing their integrity along with everything else ?????"
"UPDATED: I am updating this to one star. This post office has really gone downhill. I had a package shipped to myself from Maine when I went to gather some of my dad's belongings after he died. This post office insisted the photos, videos, DVDs wrapped in his clothing were not considered media mail which resulted in an amount being due on postage. I won't go into the entire story here but the 3 different women I talked to would not work with me as I was flying back to get my package delivered before they closed on a Saturday. I offered to pay over the phone, have a friend come in and they would not accept anything. In addition to this, we have filed several complaints because we still receive the previous residence's mail, and it has been over 3 years. This most recent complaint, we stopped receiving the mail from the previous owner for about 2 months and it has started back up again. I guess when you work at a post office and it is essential you deal with them, they don't need to be kind. Love this post office. The main lady that works the front seems to always be super slammed, but she is fast and efficient. Even when she is super busy, she is polite and friendly."
"Just plain rude people. Customer service skills need a major upgrade. The manager/post master is a blunt, rude, miserable guy. I much rather give UPS or FedEx my business than support a terrible government ran place."
"I've been going here many years. Every time I go in, the workers are efficient and polite. They have to say the same thing a million times a day, yet it somehow never sounds canned. They do a great job. (No, I'm not related nor acquainted outside of the post office) I'm not sure how these other negative posts are listed unless I've just missed the workers on bad days, which everyone has."
"I frequently send packages for eBay listings. I recently moved to this area about 2 years ago and I have been visiting this location during this time. I have been working with the USPS for over 20 years and I am pretty good at making sure my packages are labeled and documented well. I have only had one package lost prior to using this location. Unfortunately, this location has lost my packages three times. Specifically, if I have to interact with one lady, who is very rude and always have a negative response to my requests, is the source of the losses. I try to avoid using her but in some cases I cannot avoid the situation. The other ladies that I interact with are fine. She always gives the appearance to be unhappy working. I have also seen situations at this post office, where she is approached about the "attitude" and then she puts on a false facade. I highly suggest she finds alternate employment if she is that unhappy working. Finally, I highly suggest if you use USPS prepaid service do not drop things off without a receipt. I have had situations where the items that were dropped off and were scanned into the system incorrectly. If possible, go to one of the Hebron USPS locations instead."
