"My parents got an overpriced, poorly reconstructed kitchen. Walls are 1/8 out of level at 4'. Floor is unlevel. Electrical should have never passed inspection...oh wait it didn't. LOOK at that gap on the back door. Mind you, this was a complete remodel down to the studs and joist to straighten the walls and level the floor. Nothing like a crushed 90 degree bend on flexible ductwork. Man that air really flows through there...NOT!!! The overpriced bedroom reconstruction that was to be plaster is drywall with skim coat. The electrical in the bedroom actually has 2 drywall screws going THROUGH the metal box. Found that out by trying to upgrade the plug to a wall outlet plus USB. Now I get to cut the box out and redo it. 1st year woodshop students do a better job than Darke County Contractors. STAY AWAY!!!!"

"They charged over $900 for some trim work in my 9ft closet and a couple of other extremely small odds and ends. I asked for an estimate over and over again and was told materials plus a little extra. They charge $32 an hour I think it was (PER PERSON) for the son to do his work and the dad to watch, occasionally run to Lowe's, and run to do other estimates. They also charge a 4 hour minimum of the same rate for his wife's bookkeeping fee. I am an Accountant - $128 to write out a handwritten bill is insane!! I did talk him down, but still paid nearly $600 for something that should have cost half that. There also was never a scheduled time - they just randomly showed up. I do have to say that the work the son did was great. The one thing the dad did was hang a rail in the stairway and he didn't even reinforce it with the wood we asked him to use and provided for him. I would NOT recommend!"
