"We visited this winery with family while we were passing through the area. My husband and I drive all over the country trying winery’s, I was drawn to this winery based on reviews. I found the wine to be disappointing, flavor and aroma. And the presentation of the wine sampling mundane. The cheese platter is cheap and not presentable, it’s lunchables. I believe this place gets it positive reviews from the historical site and tours."
"Really a sweet place to tour and try some local wines. The bourbon was spectacular, too! The best part is the staff, who knew how to explain the history well and make you feel so welcome. Worth the patronage."
"We've visited Baker Bird Winery several times over the years, and while it's set in a lovely, quiet, historical area, our experiences with the wine flights have been hit or miss. At times, it seems like the bottles may have been open too long, resulting in some wines that were not drinkable. Some selections are fantastic and truly showcase the region's offerings, while others haven't quite met our expectations. We appreciate the effort that goes into the hard liquor offerings, but they're not our favorite. Additionally, the outdoor furniture seems neglected and could benefit from a good scrubbing and cleaning, as this would greatly enhance the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, Baker Bird Winery is definitely worth a stop to try the wines at least once. The charming atmosphere and historical setting make it a unique destination, and we've enjoyed the peaceful ambiance on our visits. We'll continue to return, hoping to see some improvements in the wine selection and tasting areas."
"It was so much fun. Whether you're here for the winery or the distillery, it's a great experience. Beautiful historic property with a wonderful wine selection that ranges from sweet to dry."
