"Let's be real no one likes to pay taxes. But it's a have to do thing. Nice people working there and always a quick in and out"
"Every few months when I go to check my tax bill I have all these surprise additions, My property tax is supposed to be less than 500.00 but somehow they've embezzled almost 1000.00 from us. These people are crooks and need to be investigated... I don't want me and my disabled girlfriend to end up on the street!"
"We found Ms Nix to be unpleasant and unwilling to work with people exercising Christian ethics. My wife’s mom passed away after her two sisters had guided their mom to a lawyer who prepared a will to the mom’s liking. The will directed that all go to my wife who then divided everything things up among her several siblings including the house that was not supposed to be lost. My brother in law had been living there with his minor children and wife and this continued under the Roger’s probate regime of 4 years 4 mo remarkable because no family member challenged the mom’s will. The house on paper went through my wife’s hands before she turned it over to her younger brother who had lived there and maintained it. Late in the process we were a little late with the taxes on her brother’s house and Ms Nix used this event in combination with our own different real estate to characterize us as habitual late payers. She gave no weight to the fact that the Butler probate had sat on an unchallenged will for more than 4 years and completely ignored that my wife’s brief ownership of her brother’s house was just her mom’s way of settling her estate.."
"This office infuriates me. The website for prepaying taxes DOES NOT WORK and they'll put you through to someone who will tell you that it works for them. What a condescending, horrible experience I've had simply trying to prepay my taxes online. As a taxpayer I deserve better. Shame on you, Butler County Treasurer's Office!"
"attorneys draft up deeds so you never own your land..thanks to parcel id#'s and u.s corporations address they put on it. Nice scam! No one will ever own land no matter what. If you pay these people property tax you do not own your land. Time to start auditing the county's' financial records."
