Kawa Revolving Sushi

"This was so much fun! I'm sad we didn't take pictures! The service was great, food was delicious, and overall a good value. The plates from the conveyor were $3.25 each and had a wide variety, including desserts. You can order specific rolls, sashimi, fried chicken (which was very flavorful) and lots d more from the electronic menu at the table. An adorable robot brings your drinks. Special orders from the kitchen arrive special delivery on a truck, train, or plane on a track above the conveyor. I would definitely recommend for an adventure or a fun dinner. It's a great way to try some new things. Most plates have 3-4 pieces so the risk if you don't like it is low. It's a cute idea for a date or for a family meal with kids. Location is easy to find with plenty of parking. Handicap accessible entrance."

"It's a wonderful sushi location, the food is fresh, the service is surprising. Most of the food is served on a conveyor belt, if you custom order something you would get a tiny train delivering. that custom item. In a serving robot brings you your drinks. The atmosphere is lovely, and unique for around here in my opinion. I cannot recommend giving this place at least one try. Especially if you're a sushi lover!!!"

"Kawa sushi offers a casual and fun way to enjoy conveyor belt sushi. We were happy that they opened a new restaurant at Hyde Park so we don’t have to travel all the way to Montgomery. Aside from sushi, they also offer ramen, hand-rolls, and tempura. Wait staff were attentive - refilled water/ drink and cleared our plates very quickly. The belts were always full, and the orders came to our tables very quickly on these little trains. If you are hesitant about raw fish, there are plenty of other non-raw options. If there is one thing that can be improved is the ambiance. We found the decor and music to not really match well with the overall theme of the restaurant. Overall, a great place for a casual meal."

"Such a wonderful meal! All plates are $3.25 (July 2024) which just go right past your table, and you can order other items that get delivered via train. The staff was friendly and helpful when our order kiosk shut down. A very clean restaurant with excellent service."
