"Pickup of vehicle before hours was cumbersome and complicated. Truck was wedged in behind other trucks. Gas was less than 1/4 tank, but the contract indicated it was 1/4. I only drove 25 miles before the low fuel light came on. When returning the vehicle the agent charged me refueling charges even though I showed him that I had just purchased fuel for the vehicle in which I only drove 45 miles. He said there was nothing that he could do and gave me a number to call U-Haul if I had a complaint. I brought the vehicle back more than 2 hours before its return time and if there was a problem with the fuel level, he should have told me before he closed out the ticket. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul (especially this one) again!!!"

"U-Haul is fine. The Compass Storage unit affiliated with this is a rip-off. They continuously raise their rates and charge me a late fee for 1 day late when I have been with them for 10 years and no late payments. So I cleaned out my storage. Now I have $150 to myself every month! Yay me!!"

"My mother and I were really in need today of a solid Uhaul and the man there was very professional. We got what we needed at a good price, when we got back we saved money; what else is there to say? "I showed up to pick up a moving truck I reserved and was told by the lady in the office that she didn't have the truck. She informed me that the person that was due to turn the truck in had called and asked if they could have it another day so she told them they could. I'm happy the person that was using the truck got what they needed, at no fault of their own, but I am unsure how that lady thought it was her right to cancel my reservation and not bother to let me know. This completely negates the reason behind making a reservation. The lady was very rude about the entire situation and never once apologized for making a mistake. I honestly believe she doesn't think she did anything wrong and is not aware that there is a such thing as common courtesy. There are some people that are suited for customer service and this lady is not one of them. After talking with someone at the U-Haul reservation center I was directed to another site where I was told would be the same size truck. I ended up having to settle on a truck two sizes smaller since the size I was told was available was not available. U-Haul has a terrible reservation system and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. If you must use them please do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs. If you must use U-Haul, I had excellent customer service at the U-Haul of Tri-Cnty location 11880 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. They told me the call center often over books them so I would make sure to show up at the exact time of your reservation."
