I have 3C hair with a curl pattern that changes halfway down my scalp, so I've always had a "hair shelf" where the curl patterns meet. She blended the layers and concealed the line as best she could without taking too much off. It still needs a bit of work as my hair grows out, but it already looks so much better and feels more hydrated and healthy.
