Reviews
"They seemed to change a lot after they got out of debt, receiving donations in excess of $2 million a year at least as of about 2019, and nearly having their entire lower level leadership change during that time. The church is not a building, it's a people throughout the world, and this place doesn't seem to get that, at least when it comes to service on a local level despite their sponsorships of several mission trips. They make things seem more about themselves rather than the Glory of God. For example, they supposedly fired a youth pastor over the biblical end of this principle when they brought someone in to help a leadership shortage for the youth gatherings when they desperately needed it. That someone worked with a multitude of local missions having fellowship with several congregations. Salem leadership basically told him something like “You serve on various Sunday mornings with various churches? We don’t do that here. You only stay with us, and do only what we say, or never serve with us”. I heard several stories from other significant figures that used to work with Salem of whom I've come to highly respect that left for smaller, more spiritually-based churches elsewhere under similar circumstances during the past few years. Including one along the lines of Salem having preference for one being a door greeter rather than writing outreach letters to the incarcerated. If there is one lesson of scripture I wish Salem leadership would understand to summarize my review, it would be this: 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many.""
"I love this Church, every message is good and I feel at home here."
"For the Church to be located in a multi- cultural community, it definitely is not. The only people who engage with our family, are the greeters. Love the Church and the teaching of Our Lord. Christ Loves Us All, Right???"
"Went to Tri-County North's graduation night. Was really nice to be able to assemble for any large group events. Nice to get back to regular ways. Really enjoyed the ceremony."
"This is a wonderful church for any Christian faith. The pastor is really down to Earth and always very relatable in his sermons. We love it there, and even our kids enjoy Pastor Steve's sermons. That's not something that is easy to come by."
