"I've been a patient of Dr. Modarelli for many years. I moved out of state for several years and when I moved back I knew exactly my first choice for my family physician would be him. His nurses are fantastic and I can talk to them about anything. Unfortunately I have to agree about the front desk personnel. They can be quite rude at times. On one occasion I called for an appointment and the receptionist asked why I needed to be seen. I told her I needed a wellness checkup. Oh boy I thought I kicked her dog or something! She rudely said she can't just put down that I need a checkup. Insurance needs to know exactly what my problem is.! So bite my head off already...."

"Tracy at the appointment desk is super unpleasant. She always has an attitude and gives a hard time about making appointments. Everytime I call she tells me that she cannot make an appointment for what im requesting because “my insurance won’t cover it”. Yet she has no idea what insurance I have and doesn’t bother to ask until she’s already argued about it. When I asked for her name or to speak to her supervisor, she hung the phone up on me. And not to mention, my insurance covers it.. everytime.. Also, I once’s called to make an appointment and she told me the soonest available with Kay was 4 weeks out. Then I asked if there was anything available sooner with someone else and she said no. So I had my mom call and try to make an appointment for the same thing with Kay and all of a sudden there was something next week."
