"I had a 2024 CX50 that I leased through Kerry Mazda. In August 2024, I was involved in a head-on collision that resulted in my new car being deemed a total loss. I had only made 6 payments on it at the time of my accident. I’ll start with transparency because I believe in accountability and honesty. My credit isn’t poor but it’s not fabulous either. I had no trade-in due to the accident and I had no money for a down payment due to life after a car accident, medical bills, etc and the previous loan had not been paid off yet by insurance. I returned to Kerry Mazda out of loyalty to the brand and Natasha, the salesperson I worked with to get the previous 2024 CX50, hoping they would work with me due to my situation. That was a mistake. Not only was I lied to on multiple occasions but they clearly only care about padding their pockets. I was told that the Premier Defense protection was not optional because “it was already on the car” and this added $2500 to the cost of the new car. When I told them I didn’t have a down payment, they manipulated the cost of the Premier Defense to make up for that (charging $3200 for something they typically charge $2500 for). She initially tried to sneak that increase by me by directing my attention to them being able to get the payment amount where I needed it. When I questioned it, the explanation I got for that increase was, “they had to make up for the fact I didn’t have a down payment somewhere”. They did get the payment amount where I needed it to be but this was before I talked to Finance so I knew even though it was affordable when I was speaking to Natasha, the cost was going to increase in Finance because I would have elected to add GAP and a Maintenance Plan and I needed the payment amount to be inclusive of the add-on products I DID want. Even if the Premier Defense was something I wanted, I would not pay $700 more for something they typically charge $2500 for. They acted like they were doing me a favor by letting me get another car because my previous loan was not paid off yet through insurance. That wasn’t a favor because they do know they are getting the full amount of that payoff through my insurance company (I had documentation to prove this). They stated moving me up a credit tier was also a favor and while that was true, it did not benefit me tremendously. Natasha also tried to lay a guilt trip on me and when she came back with better numbers stated, “I’m not getting paid off of this deal anymore and I only made $150 when your husband bought a vehicle from me”. She was trying to make me think she was taking a loss to do me a favor, but it came across as manipulation to make me buy (which it was). For the sake of keeping this as short as possible, these are just a few examples of the lies and deceit that I witnessed in my pursuit of another Mazda vehicle. The manager I spoke to was no better (I can’t remember his name). Through conversation with Mazda Financial, I uncovered that what Kerry Mazda had told me about the add-on protections was not truthful and I wanted to make EVERY potential customer of Kerry Mazda aware. The Premier Defense is an OPTIONAL 3rd party item. You DO NOT have to purchase this or the other add-ons that they offer. I have taken it upon myself to get refunded for these products and I will not be returning to the Kerry family of dealerships for any new car. The King family (King Toyota specifically) have been truthful with me from the start, and I will be getting my new car from them. Save yourself the headache and stay away from these liars. They lost two customers over my experience and hopefully many more. Have the day you deserve Kerry Mazda."
"Amazing deal, great service, Taeshawn Graves was an excellent salesperson. I already knew the vehicle I wanted, worked with Taeshawn on the numbers before I even walked in the door. Signed the paperwork at the agreed upon numbers for my new lease on a Mazda CX-90. Was in and out within 10 minutes with the finance department, no issues at all. Pleasant customer experience and no games. I don't even live near this dealer but drove an hour and half to get my new CX90 because they made me such a great offer and made the process so easy. Definitely 5 stars, easy."
