"Absolutely terrible customer service. The photos are from when I picked up the van in which I have a time and day stamp from taking them. Brought the car back from a one day trip. They are trying to access a $450 cleaning fee. They are claiming that it was a clean van from the previous rental. I think they need to send their staff to cleaning school. If the rental is not 100% clean from any dust or dirt, make them clean it like they are supposed to clean. UPDATE: The corporate customer service department reached out to me and investigated the issue. They corrected the issue and refunded me back the $450 cleaning fee."

"Rec'd the vehicle and the exterior was dirty, covered with dead insects all across the front grill, headlights and both side mirrors. The back was also dirty from what appeared to be driving in the rain. I washed the vehicle myself after my wife's outfit was ruined when she came out to check it out. Was told that the oil was just changed the same day we picked it up, yet the vehicle's information system stated there was 58% oil life left. Photos reflect me washing the vehicle prior to leaving the next morning."

"Watch out for the $250 deposit they'll want to charge your card, after you have already paid to rent the car. Of course they bury that in their credit card terms of service and are not upfront about additional charges. This was 75% of what I rented the car for. After returning the car with a full tank they charged me a fuel fee 30 minutes after I left the location. Called to ask why and, of course, they blamed their computer system for the charge. The car was trashed and disgusting. They just had the trunk marked as having scratches, but I had to circle every panel on the car due to scratches and dents. The interior was stained on all of the seating areas, including the back of the seats. Used to use Budget exclusively for rentals...no longer"

"THIS REVIEW WAS FOR COLUMBUS AIRPORT BUDGET LOCATION, NOT TYLERSVILLE!! Worst experience ever!!!!!! Have rented vehicles here many times. This experience was horrendous. We had to elevate issues above manager at this location. They tried to charge extra $13 a day for something included in our reserved price. The clerk's and manager were rude, they couldn't produce the stated "policy change" in writing and subsequently gave us an unsafe car with worn tires! The car had not been cleaned (see pictures) a used food container was left under the front seat!!!! I am writing a letter to the Budget corporate office as well. The supposed manager, Ryan "no last name" was totally inept, and should be demoted to cleaning the cars instead of interacting with customers. 1 star reflecting "Hated It!" is accurate!!!! Clean up your act...literally!!!!"
