"I'm not a member of the "Purple Door" church nor a Lutheran myself, but I do like this church. This is a great meeting place with nice facilities. I should note that the church staff that I have interacted with have always been really nice folks. The church is quite large and has multiple meeting rooms of various sizes, plus a large well designed "Fellowship" hall. There is solid wifi and they have a projection screen on the small stage, should you need any of that for your meetings. I recently delivered a class here, using the wifi and projection screen (with my own projector) and had no issues with either. The hall has it's own kitchen, which is plenty large enough for a decent size gathering. The bathrooms are a short walk from the hall, but at least you don't need to climb stairs to get there. The parking area is pretty large and the lot seems to be reasoably well designed with well marked spaces. Overall, a very nice facility - thanks for letting us use your hall!"

"Experienced a service at this church after the loss of a friend. While I'm anything but a churchgoer, the service was nice and the after funeral lunch provided everyone an opportunity to share their grief and remembrances. I found the congregation to be very attentive to the needs of the family and a place they will find support after experiencing such a devastating loss."

"St. John's Lutheran is a spacious Church. I was not here for a service but for random events such as S.T.A.R. retreat and community suppers. They have a good sized kitchen and eating area. They are hospitable and host many local events. They are known for their "purple doors." They also have a unique "octagon" room for children's ministry."
