"Absolutely gorgeous church! Well in town visiting just because it looked like a beautiful place from the outside. The inside did not disappoint."
"My wife's grandfather had his funeral service there. It was very very nice. I'm not a Christian, but he was catholic, and he would have been quite pleased in my opinion. The highest respect toward the dead, and a nice touch of community m, if that makes sense. The building is beautiful. I hadn't been inside of it since I was a child. Beautiful art work on the walls, and the golden temple/castle of christ in the center was immaculate. The architecture of the entire thing is amazing as well. Huge copper tops, great brick work, ect. As a kid I never appreciated the scale and work of such a building. It's quite somthing our small town has this great piece of artwork and ingenuity. Thank you."
"Beautiful Gothic church that rivals the cathedrals in Europe. Here in a town of 10,000 people. Free to enter. So many stained glass murals and religious icons."
"Pretty church in the middle of your typical Midwest small town"
"I’ve been to many cathedrals worldwide, and one of the surprising things about the Immaculate Conception Cathedral is how grandly beautiful it is, inside and out, in a small Midwestern town. I came here during a rough time in life and didn’t know if the building was open. A guy tending the grounds was nice enough to check, and I was invited inside. I sat in a space to pray and to take in the awe and splendor beneath a soaring dome roof. Several parishioners and clergy showed up for choir practice. They were delightfully friendly. I felt so much better in just a few minutes of being there. A marvelous gem in the middle of Celina; ironically the name means “the heavens”."
