"Quiet, beautiful place to hike!"
"Beautiful little half mile loop with a few extra steps with the fishing access spin off trail. Well marked trails, some road noise like others mentioned but I could still hear the birds. Beautiful little trickling creek in early February and a tiny bit of mud/few slippery spots, but very manageable! There are 3 benches and a picnic table, too. No pets. $2.50 entrance fee or $10 for a family. Great little spot! Very small parking area."
"Nice little hike on a well kept trail. Not very many people so I walked through a lot of spider webs going across the trail. The river fishing access spur leads to a nice view of the river. Would be nice if they posted how long it is so you know what to expect when you go for the first time"
"Just went for a quick walk after the tornadoes went through this area. A few trees down and some roofing trash blown in but it survived pretty well."
"Wish the tails were a little bit more maintained, more gravel would be great. But gosh, this is such a pretty little spot. I'm not a big bird watcher, but I do love a little stroll through the forest. If you're feeling a bit disconnected, give the trail a shot. Took about 30 minutes to slowly stroll through, and I would advise to bring some shoes you're not worried about getting dirty. Very happy someone decided to preserve this area."
