"This 92 foot long covered bridge was built in 1895 utilizing Childs trusses."
"The location on Google Maps is incorrect. The correct location is where Eaton New Hope Road crosses Sevenmile Creek. You can see the bridge there on the satellite map. EDIT: Looks like Google may have updated the bridge location. Previously they had it in the middle of a field a few miles north of where it actually is."
"Christman Covered Bridge is 108-foot long with a 15-foot width and 13-foot height of clearance. The Bridge has been rehabilitated and is open to traffic. Built in 1895 by Everett S. Sherman, the Christman Covered Bridge was designed with one of only a few Childs Trusses in the United States. One of Preble County's historic treasures! Well maintained with rock abutments, a solid roof and relatively new white paint. Sthe Bridge also has a strong, reinforced wooden and steel deck. Spectacular! Thank you Preble County for your continued upkeep of your historic bridges."
