"My husband and I have been guests at the GarageMahal on several occasions. The property is stunning with fantastic guest services all around. The boat rides provided are so relaxing and fun all at the same time. However, you are required to walk across the street and down some stairs to get to the boat dock which can be a little tiresome while carrying a drink in your hand. Other than that, the boat rides are well worth it! The bourbon selection is fantastic and the Danhattan's are to die for! We have never gone away hungry from the GarageMahal. The dinners that are served are very well thought out and delicious. Our most recent experience was unbelievable. The artistry and technique that was used during food presentation was out of this world. What I was most impressed with was that the host/chef Dan did suffer a horrible injury to his finger while slicing potatoes and he toughed it out for us even cutting a new batch of potatoes after his injury! The experience and friendship that you gain from visiting the GarageMahal is well worth the hour drive. I highly recommend this place and will be forever thankful for the hospitality of the hosts Dan and Renae!"

The hostess and host, Renae and Dan, strive to give the guests an experience as if they were at a 5 star hotel. Great bourbon selection and the food is spot on. It's as if you are sitting down with family!!!"

"This place is awesome! Big, clean and pet friendly with the fully fenced in lot. Dan was over accommodating and even took our whole family on a boat ride complete with rides on Big Mable. Our kids loved it, our dog loved it and my wife and I loved it. I almost gave it 4 stars only because the fire pit was only 42" and not 48" (lol) but Dan made up for that with his graciousness and hospitality. We will definitely be back and would recommend anyone else to go!"

"This is definitely a must go one tank trip in Ohio. The house keeping is spotless and everything was well organized. The options for places to sit and relax to enjoy the veiw were endless. There is a small walk to the lake, and the landings going down to the under horsepowered pontoon boat ( it should have about 50 more ponies) were a little sketchy. However the ride around the lake was very enjoyable. The wait staff and food provided was 5 star. I chose the smoked chicken breast and grilled corn that was cooked to perfection. The salad bar had plenty of options including a hickory smoked artisan bacon that was just fabulous. The cheesy potatoes was the perfect complement to the rustic meal. The portions were so large everyone needed a to go box. It would be impossible to walk away hungry from any meal served here. The ho-ho cake along with the whistlepig burbon capped off the perfect evening. I will definately be returning to this little hotspot in northeast Ohio!"

"The most amazing get away. Riding on the Godfrey was fun and relaxing. Host and Hostess were beyond friendly, loving accommodating. Food was hot and delicious. The ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars is the way they put on the toilet paper. I could have been bitten by a spider, but I did educate them on the proper way to install a roll. Will definitely return. Agree that they welcome you like family."
