"After an accident where one of our company cars was totaled, as the car was a manual transmission (which we prefer), it was difficult to find one to replace the totaled vehicle. We looked all over the SE, after seeing nothing available in Georgia. Several out of state auto dealers exhibited questionable behavior. Only two cars were found that may have been okay, but were not great offerings. So we expanded the search to Ohio and found exactly what we needed at Classic Volkswagen in Mentor, Ohio. The car had super low mileage and had all kinds of added features. Classic's sales agent Alvaro was very articulate on needed details and answered all questions without reservation. Along with Alvaro, Nick the finance man handled all of the titling and paperwork swiftly and enlisted a Georgia based notary to meet in Georgia to get papers signed and sent back to Ohio. Communications was seamless. The icing on the cake was when actual delivery of the car took place. Even though the car was 10 years old, it was so clean that you could eat off the floor! I was pinching myself! The manual shift was super tight and the car ran like a top. Frankly the car was like a new car and turned out to be the best car we have ever owned in fifty years driving! Going in to buying a used automobile out of state can be scary for sure, but buying one at Classic Volkswagen sight-unseen from another state and dealing with Alvaro took the quess work and frustration right out of the equation. For any of one's automotive needs, when it comes to serviceability and quality in the car and honesty and forthrightness in the transaction in acquiring a car, it can safely be said that looking elsewhere may turn up something but that looking at what Mentor's Classic Volkswagen and affiliate offices has to offer, in the end buying one there, even from out of state, one can rest assured will easily be the best choice one can ever make: No holds barred!"

"The people in the service department are only friendly to some and rude to others. Really loved seeing a SALES car in a handicapped designated area. The stripes are meant for people with wheel chair ramps. Did I need one? No, but handicap people buy cars too. Pretty sure a dealership could find a different area to park a car that is for sale....Think I will start going to the other location. The only person at Mentor that is great is the finance guy Nick."
