"I watched the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse at this park. What a gorgeous experience. Everyone was friendly and the park was great."
"The park itself has some picnic tables and some playground equipment but it's mostly just grass. Behind the park, along the river, is a boat ramp. We love how straight the boat ramp is but there is a big hole on the driver's side of the ramp that can break your trailer if you back into it. Just a few miles north and Charloe Sno Cone has a dock and steps up to their shop. Too bad they don't sell bait! A few more miles and there is a sandbar where you can dock and visit friends or swim. Another 1/2 mile north is Five Span Bridge and Cabbage Patch restaurant/gas station/convenience store and a Dollar General next to that."
