WIC Office - Williams County Health Department

"Thanks to the nutritional support and accountability I received during pregnancy, and the INCREDIBLE breastfeeding education and resources at this WIC office, I left the NICU with 67 extra ounces of pumped milk after supplying my son with it for our 10-day stay. The peace of mind I had knowing that no matter how things went in NICU, that I would be able to provide the best source of nutrition for my boy in his first weeks on Earth was invaluable. Today at our post birth appt, I expressed how much I missed the pump I used at the hospital, and they sent me home with a *rechargeable, portable* double electric pump by the same brand!! In addition, they provided a manual pump and a Haakaa (which I am using as I type this and feed my baby...absolute gamechanging apparatus that I wouldn't have had access to without them). The Montpelier office helped install a new carseat, and lactation is available by text for those 3 am nursing questions. All around awesome office, with staff who seem genuinely to care about supporting mothers and their babies/young children so they can thrive. Thank you, Bryan WIC!!"
