Rockford Community Building

Welcome to the Rockford Community Building, a vibrant hub for recreational activities and events in the heart of Rockford, Ohio. Located at 402 Holly Street, our community building is proudly operated by the Rockford Recreation Association, an independent, self-sustaining program driven by dedicated community volunteers. Our mission is to engage and unite area residents through a variety of recreational programs and events, made possible by the generous support of private and business donors.

Our facility is nestled in Shane’s Park, a growing park complex that features five baseball diamonds, basketball courts, pickleball courts, a playground, and a pavilion. We proudly host an array of seasonal activities, games, tournaments, and events, catering to visitors of all ages and interests. Pickleball enthusiasts will find four permanent outdoor courts at 506 W Bridge, open daily from dawn to dusk.

For those planning special occasions, our venue offers flexible rental options. Shane’s Hall is available for weddings, with a weekend package priced at $800, and additional days at $150 each. For other events, the hall can be rented at $150 per day, with an additional day at $75.
