"I was in the parking lot of this branch waiting for them to open and was alerted from a lady in a car that I needed to leave the property. I’m a 69 year old male and was reading on my phone waiting. I have never had that to happen and I don’t know why it did. I use the atm after hours so what’s the deal. That was very bad customer service. The reviews should show corp. something on that management level of that bank. Very unprofessional."

"I had the worst experience with First Citizens Bank in Sunset Beach that I’ve ever had with a bank. I pulled most of my money and put it in my bank in Va where I’m from. I earn 5.5% interest in my checking account there. First Citizens offers nothing like this but my main problems where them charging me for an overdraft when I specifically asked if money wasn’t in checking but it was in savings would they transfer it without a charge. I understood them to say yes. They disagreed. I had this service in Va. Being a new customer and it being a misunderstanding (which I seriously question) you’d think they’d forgive one charge but no, they didn’t. I pulled money out because I wasn’t happy and they started charging $18.00 a month without even notifying us because they said we dropped to a different kind of account when we withdrew money. If we’d known, we would have pulled it all out but even though we weren’t notified, they wouldn’t remove the charges. In addition to that and not a huge deal but it took 3 tries for them to get my middle initial correct on my debit card. Sorry to give a bad review but this is how it was."
