Tabor City prides itself on providing essential services to its residents. Our town supplies water and sewer services, and we have partnered with Waste Management, Inc. to ensure efficient refuse collection. Trash pick-up occurs every Friday, with the fee conveniently included in your water bill.

Our local government is led by Mayor Royce Harper, alongside Mayor Pro Tem Lamont Grate and council members David Mincey, Kelly Beck, and Sam Rogers. The Tabor City Police Department, under the leadership of Chief Donald Dowless and Major Chris Hilburn, is committed to maintaining safety and security within our community. We encourage community involvement and invite residents to attend the Tabor City Planning and Zoning Board meetings, held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Town Hall.
