"We used Hills per my mother's request for her funeral arrangements in Lumberton. We used another funeral home in Greenville NC to prepare her casket and body for her Celebration of Life service and they did an amazing job. However Hills transported my mother's body in a van which ended up in her body moving so bad that makeup was on the inside cloth and her body leaking in the casket. The morning of my mother's funeral we were contacted and told that my mother's white dress was messed up along with the casket so she wouldn't be able to have open casket. I contacted the funeral home in Greenville and the owner was so devastated that he offered to pay for another casket and Hills refused to make the situation right and blamed it on them. We were so upset because just hours before my mother looked great. Hills showed no remorse and stated that they had another service. My only wish is that we could have buried my mother in better conditions and that we were able to see her face one last time. If you want a professional a funeral and to bury your love one in the best way don't use Hills. By far our biggest regret."

Sadly Vann Strickland was my point of contact. Once again horrible customer service and I would not recommend Hills Funeral services to anyone in the time of bereavement."
