"Nightmare is too nice a word for the experience they put us through! Dismissing my child when he was having trouble breathing after a spider bite! Administering a COVID SWAB TEST WITHOUT ...WITHOUT...WITHOUTTT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT and WITHOUT MY CHILDS CONSENT!!! Doctor never wore gloves and kept his hands in his pockets the majority of the visit! Kept as far away from me and my child as possible! Azzzzzenine attitude from whoever switched the strep swab with the DAMN COVID SWAB- my child feared getting a steroid shot....she did NOTHING to calm my child's already stressed breathing! She snapped her gloves off and basically walked out saying "hit the buzzer if you change your mind!" WE LEFT when a large rude woman came in to administer a strep swab test AFTER we were already given the supposed strep swab. Incompetence beyond disgusting! Can't even imagine what she would have injected my child with if we allowed her to do the steroid shot! I'm guessing my son would be a myocarditis statistic right about now! Never never NEVER go here!"

"The staff tonight should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Not only unprofessional but also incredibly negligent. You have someone come in with stroke symptoms and you do no blood work.....you offer no guidance....the patient has to ask you to at least do an EKG and never even got results just handed discharge papers. As a Nurse this establishment is embarrassing. In the past few years this place has really taken a nose dive. If you are in need of medical care drive to Grand Strand or CMC."

"Husband came in for broken ribs. They really didn’t do anything for him, but on the bill it said he was given an IV and drugs so watch your bills make sure they’re correct."

"Two separate visits to this ER within a few days due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics. Hives on my arms, legs and torso. This first visit was very good. Excellent care, listened, administered necessary meds to stop my reaction, checked on me and monitored me. Sent home with a prescription and instructions. Second visit was a few days later for flare of up same situation. This time my mouth and face were swelling. Sent to a room, put a BP cuff on me and no one checked on me. I stepped to nurses station asking for something because it was getting worse. Told doc would have to see me. Doc came in about 30 mins later, looked at me and my throat. Did not check anything else. Told me to stop taking steroids that had been prescribed and take Benadryl only. I was given 2, over the counter type Benadryl and sent home. No observation. Such a scary experience and waste of my time. Woke up next day covered in hives and swollen. Went to a totally different urgent care facility. Was immediately given a steroid shot, monitored and prescribed a total of 3 prescriptions. Moral is I guess it depends on who you get for a nurse and doctor at McLeod Seacoast as far as what kind of care you will receive. Allergic reaction is no joke and can turn bad quickly."
