"After a sudden death in the family, I was worried my brother and I would be taken advantage of planning their daughter’s funeral. That is not what happened. A very pleasant woman quoted what to us—who know nothing about the cost of gravestones—seemed to be a reasonable price. "This morning Maryville Monument placed my parents' headstone on their joint resting place in Townsend, TN. From my tearful initial visit to the showroom up to installation today, everyone was professional while also showing compassion throughout the process. Allison Waters gave me options, made suggestions and was patient and kind while I made choices for the headstone. I chose to use both sides of the stone and you will see that in the photos. I chose GA marble and added 2 enamel photos of my parents, one when they got married and one on their 50th anniversary. They knew each other for only 3 weeks and were married for 56 years. Bible verses were chosen because their love and the love they showed all of us was because God loved us first, just as 1 John 4:19 states. The two installation gentlemen this morning were professional and talkative throughout the misty/rainy morning in the mountains. They left the area around the marker just as it was before we arrived and then rinsed the marble stone and all of the "L" markers on the 4 corners of the site. I am happy to have chosen Maryville Monument as they met my needs and exceeded my expectations. My parents would be pleased."
