The tellers are great too - I had a tough deciding who to go with as all banks have different perks but my favorite thing about south state is the check image is already in the app instead of having to download it like my last bank so both customer service and the app platform are great. "I have been with this same bank since they were Bank of Blairsville. I’ve gone through all their buyouts and not ONCE did i have problems with any of them until South State came along. They charge me overdraft fees of $36/transaction that shouldn’t be charged (the charges were made when there was a positive balance and already deducted from available balance) and it’s a pain to constantly go up there nearly every 2 weeks to get them reversed. They need to stop this and clear up there computer system."
